The purpose of a featured teleclass listing is to better
promote your class than a
free listing can accomplish. Plus, you'll get the most
exposure for the 7 days it is listed.
That happens by:
>It being seen on the main page of
PlanetTeleclass.com.
>By being the first group of classes anyone sees for the
current classes page (at the very top).
>By being the first class for that date in the
class listing page.
>By being one of the classes listed at the very
beginning of the Sunday night emailing for that
week.
Here's how it works. Let's
say it's the 8th of the month (Monday). You want to
feature list a class that starts on the 16th (Tuesday).
You would submit your class as soon as you can. Once
paid for, it would be listed on the website's current
classes in first position for that date. Since
it's the 8th, others already have the featured class
position taken and that won't expire until approximately
Sunday 6pm mountain time (we've changed the cutoff time)
when the new email list of classes go out. The previous
week listings will be taken off the front page and yours
will be put on. Same goes for the current classes
page. Yours will now be at the top of the current
classes page AND be the top class for that date (if
other folks sign up for that date, then first come first
listed). This lasts for 7 days and expires on the
following Sunday around 6pm (mountain time). Then the
next group of featured classes will take your place. And
so on...
Please note: on the
featured class form page you now have a field to
enter the Monday you want your listing to appear.
Some folks like to have their class featured BEFORE the
class runs, especially if it's a Monday class. It
wouldn't make much sense to advertise your class the
same day it was to run. So be sure to enter a Monday
date. Also note that if you position your featured
listing BEFORE your class runs, the current classes DATE
listing won't be removed for that week. when your
paid listing expires on Sunday 6pm MT. It will still
be there for that week. More bang for your buck!
But be aware that classes sometimes are removed after
they expire and that could be done on a daily basis.
